There are several positions available across the specialties, mostly based in their London Hospitals.
Their Critical Care resident doctor post is their most crucial position and one that they struggle with due to complex cases they deal with (all of their critical care units are level 3). The main conditions they tend to deal with in their critical care units are neuro and cardiac. They must be experienced complex airways management (as opposed to general critical care)
Essential Criteria
- You must be on the GMC Register
- You must have a GMC Recognised postgraduate qualification; MRCP, MRCS, MRCoA and Faculty, FFICM, FRCR
- 5+ years specialty training (we may be able to encourage them to consider 4)
- Critical Care – must have experience with complex airways managment
Contract Type
Permanent (or minimum of 2 year fixed term contracts)
Full Time; 6 x 24 hour shifts in a 4 week rota, ‘working’ 8:00am – 9:00pm when they can then go to the resident doctor room and only disturbed in a critical emergency
Salary
Critical Care - £75,000 - £80,000
Haem/Onc - £70,000 - £75,000
